She has been involved in and led various fundraisers, pet drives, school supply collection drives, and different food drives for disaster relief from a very young age. She has been contributing to helping the community in many other ways such as volunteering at many city-based cultural events, helping residents of Retirement Communities, and recognizing community heroes such as Firefighters, Police Men, and Mail delivery folks during Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also mentors children at Jeevan Jyoti Ashram, an orphanage in India. During her free time, she loves helping fellow students with their study needs (free tutoring) and plans community outreach events for Robotics. Stuti’s mission is to raise awareness of the lack of educational resources many people deal with and find ways to help people in need. Stuti is passionate about making an impact and is interested in community engagement and philanthropy to serve as KDTF’s Mentoring Youth Leader. I am confident that her current leadership skills, social service experience, enthusiastic personality, and passion for helping the community, especially the students, will definitely be helpful to the organization. She is on a mission to make positive change in her community and beyond, and she’s prepared to boldly stand up for what she believes in.

Hello! My name’s Ritisha Patro and I’m a Junior at Weddington High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. I take part in many school clubs where I participate in fundraisers and gather supplies for various drives. Outside of school, I play tennis for the school team, and do bharatanatyam which is a form of Indian classical dance. Along with tennis and dance, I like to sing and have been learning it for about 9 years now! I love volunteering and helping my community in any way I can, whether it be working at social events, or gathering supplies and hosting drives for various causes. My goal is to contribute in a way that causes change for the better. I’m passionate about spreading love and kindness in ways that improve the lives of others and encouraging others to do the same as well. As a Youth Ambassador for KDTF, my mission is to raise money and awareness for the kids around the world that need extra love and support. Being a Youth Ambassador for this wonderful organization is just one step I am taking towards making a difference in my community, and I hope to do more in the future.
